How to ship wines to the USA

You have planned a trip to France and wish to visit some domaines or wine shops and bring some wine treasures back home? Here are a few tips to know to travel with all necessary information in hand for an easy trip.

Before your trip :

Finalise your visits and/or wine tastings at domaines or wine shops. Feel free to send an email to our French team with your schedule and we will be able to confirm if we work with the different suppliers you will be visiting. If this is not the case, our team will be sure to call them before your arrival in order to explain our process for the French administrative side. Furthermore, feel free to familiarise yourself with our method of shipping with our current documentation.

During your trip :

Once you have finished shopping, send a copy of your different invoices or order forms to our team. Please be sure that they include your delivery address as well as all delivery information (email and phone number).

After your trip :

Once we have received your orders in our French warehouse, we will prepare all the bottles for legal labelling for US shipping (government warning, “imported by” etc.) and verify that they are the same as those mentioned on your order forms/invoices.

Following the preparation, your orders will be shipped (via ocean or express-air freight depending on your choice) towards our warehouse in Oregon (or partner warehouse). You will receive a confirmation email once your wines are ready to leave our French warehouse with which you can confirm your delivery address and preferred delivery contact method.

Our US team will send you your tracking number the day your wines have left our US warehouse for final delivery to you. Please keep in mind that our US team monitors weather forecasts daily, and we will advise if we deem it unsafe (due to high/low temperatures) to dispatch your wines from our US warehouse for final delivery. If that is the case, we will contact you with different options available at that time.
